Human rights
Human Rights Policy
The Iida Group will achieve sustainable growth and contribute to society by "creating an affluent society where more people can live happily." In order to realize this philosophy, we believe it is important for us as a company to respect human rights, and we aim to establish a corporate culture that respects human rights.
1. Respect for international human rights standards
The Iida Group will promote responsible management by complying with the laws and regulations of the countries and regions in which it conducts business, and supporting and respecting international norms regarding human rights, such as the International Bill of Human Rights and the ILO (International Labor Organization) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
2. Scope of application
This policy applies to all officers and employees of the IIDA Group. We also expect our business partners and other related parties to understand and support this policy, and we will encourage them to comply with it.
3. Human Rights Due Diligence
The IIDA Group strives to respect the human rights of its stakeholders through the continuous implementation of human rights due diligence. We evaluate the impact of our activities on human rights, and take measures to avoid or mitigate any predicted negative impacts.
4. Correction and Remedies
If the IIDA Group causes adverse human rights impacts directly or indirectly in its business activities, it will take appropriate internal and external steps to correct and remedy the impact.
5. Dialogue with stakeholders
The Iida Group will continue to improve its efforts to respect human rights through dialogue with various stakeholders.
6. Priority issues regarding human rights
- We will eliminate discrimination and other unfair treatment based on race, nationality, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, etc.
- We do not tolerate "forced labor" or "child labor" within the IIDA Group or in our supply chain.
- The Iida Group manages labor in compliance with the labor laws of each country. With regard to wages, we comply with the minimum wage regulations of each country and have a basic policy of paying wages equal to or higher than the minimum wage. In addition, we strive to balance the promotion of employee health and productivity, realizing a safe and comfortable working environment, and working to create a rewarding and healthy working environment.
- We respect freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining, and will not engage in any actions that impede these rights.
- We do not tolerate any form of harassment, including sexual harassment and power harassment.
- We respect the privacy of our employees, handle personal information with the utmost care, comply with national and local laws related to personal information protection, and do not tolerate leaks or unnecessary attempts to learn information.
