Employee interview

Iida Group Holdings
Sales Management Department

5th year of new graduate

  • Please tell me why you wanted to join Iida Group Holdings

When I joined the company as a new graduate, it was only the fifth year of the company's holding system. I applied to join the company because I wanted to be one of the employees who will work together to create the Iida Group, which is a group of six major detached house companies that will continue to grow.

  • Please tell us about the work you are currently in charge of.

In the Sales Promotion Department, responsibilities are divided into detailed divisions within the department. We have web design staff responsible for the condominium business, Contract constructions business, the operation and marketing of the housing information site ''Sumaiida'', and the overall design of the site. I am mainly involved in the management and marketing of Sumaiida. We operate advertisements on the web and SNS media, operate SNS such as X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube, and produce and appear in posted videos.

  • Please tell us about the rewarding, rewarding, and interesting aspects of your work.

We spend a lot of money on advertising every month. This is directly linked to the number of responses Sumaiida, so I work with a sense of responsibility and motivation to ensure that ''advertisements are bad, and so are the number of responses.'' Regarding SNS, I am able to be involved in the production and filming of videos in which I appear, something that I would not be able to do in other jobs, and I am constantly inspired and find the work interesting. It's still a small business, but I'm really happy when I get comments, so that's the real pleasure of this job.

  • Please tell me about your colleagues, boss, and the atmosphere at work.

The best thing about joining this company is the atmosphere within the department. Ever since I was a student, my seniors taught me that the most important thing in a company is ''human relationships,'' but after I was actually assigned to this sales promotion department, my concerns about ''human relationships'' quickly disappeared. it was done. The person in charge of my education carefully and repeatedly explained things I didn't understand, and my boss and colleagues also created an environment in which it was easy for me to get used to the job.

  • What is important to you in your work?

I value having a different perspective. Many of the people in our department have a wealth of experience, including those who have been in real estate sales for many years and those who have been involved in web-related work. Also, many people join the company mid-career, and there are only a few employees like me who started from scratch as new graduates, so there are some problems that can be seen because of this. Now in our fifth year, we continue to approach our work from a different perspective, emphasizing the perspective and feelings of people who want to buy a house.

  • Please tell us about a particularly memorable job.

Within a few months of being assigned, I was tasked with creating materials for a board meeting. Of course, I didn't do it all by myself, but I created it while being taught by the education staff. I should have been able to complete it if I followed the manual, but since there were so many pages and the numbers were so detailed, I made a lot of mistakes at first. Still, I felt a sense of accomplishment when I completed it. It remains memorable in the sense that it was the first ''big job'' I ever did.

  • What do you think has contributed to your personal growth through your work?

At Holdings, you are in the position of "receiving sales" rather than "doing sales." In other words, you need to use your own judgment to choose between good and bad things.
It's very difficult to judge whether a proposal is necessary for our company right now, and I'm still inexperienced, but I think I've been able to grow a little with the help of those around me.

  • Please tell us about the ease of working at Iida Group Holdings through your past work.

I think I can work at my own pace. Of course, each job has a deadline, but most of the work is delegated to me, so I can proceed in a way that suits me. Therefore, overtime is not compulsory, and most people in my department leave work at the scheduled time. Also, since I have good interpersonal relationships, I can concentrate on my work.

  • Is there a gap between your image and what you had before joining the company?

I thought that the majority of mid-career employees were in the real estate industry, but I felt there was a gap as there were many people who came from other industries. Also, this is just my personal impression, but I thought that ''real estate = athletics,'' but that was not the case at all. It's actually quite quiet (lol). This may be because there are many people coming from other industries.

  • Please tell us about the work you would like to experience in the future and your goals.

Our current goal is to maximize awareness of Sumaiida. There are still many people who are thinking of purchasing a home who do not know about ''Sumaiida''. I would like people who are considering purchasing a home, and future Customer who may purchase in the future, to know more about us, so I would like to further expand the SNS-related work I am currently doing.

  • Please give a message to those who are interested in working at Iida Group Holdings

This company is still in the process of development, and we will continue to power up so that we can maximize the power of the group. If you are interested in creating something together with someone, I would like you to give it a try, and I look forward to working with you.
